Dress Code for senior award night, Thursday, May 9, 2019, 6:30 PM:
BOYS:
Slacks or uniform pants with dress/button down shirt with collar and tie
No tennis shoes
GIRLS:
Dress (remember school dress code length) or nice pants outfit

Dress Code for graduation, Friday, May 17, 7:00 PM:
BOYS:
Long or short sleeved white dress shirt with conventional collar
A dark long tie (no bow, string, or bolo ties)
Black or brown dress shoes or dress boots with pants outside boots
Khaki or dark slacks/dress pants
No sideburns below earlobe
Clean shaven or neatly trimmed beards and/or mustaches
       No jewelry

GIRLS:
Dress of any color or style as long as the top does not show above the neck of the gown or the bottom of the dress does not show below the hem of the gown
Comfortable dress shoes with heels no higher than 2 inches. Sandals are permissible. Flip-flops may not be worn unless they are dressy and have heels.
If hose are worn, they should be a neutral color.
Jewelry should be limited to rings, watches, and small earrings.

Seniors: There are commencements agreements outside Mrs. Ellerbe's door. If your English teacher told you, you have not turned one in, you may pick one up, get it signed, and return it.
4-H Announcements
-Raffle Ticket Fundraiser: Want a new I Watch, Amazon gift card and more?  Buy a ticket for your chance to win.  We will start selling raffle tickets next week.  All members must participate.  Tickets will be $3 each
-Portfolio Training- Monday April 29th 4:30-6:00 pm @ the Scott Center.  Registration deadline is April 26th.  Refer to newsletter for more information.   
-Express yourself! Poetry Contest:  Submission due at April Club Meeting.  
-Coke Tab Collection:  Spring collections of Soda Tabs to benefit the Monroe Ronald McDonald house are due at the May meeting. 
-Clover Care Bags:  Item donations wanted to help youth transition into the foster care system.  Items should be appropriate for ages 0-18 years of age. 
-4-H University:  LSU Campus June 18-21.  Cost $230.  $75 deposit due May 4th. Start thinking about which contest you would like to enter!
SENIORS MUST COMPLETE A FAFSA, AS WELL AS MEET OTHER GRADUATION CRITERIA,  FOR THE LOUISIANA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION TO ISSUE A DIPLOMA. SEE MS. SOUTHERN. These must be completed as soon as possible.

SENIORS: If you are selling candy to help cover the cost of prom tickets, you must turn that money in to Mrs. Banks. Please have the full amount in cash or check. No loose change. If you are selling multiple boxes, you must bring your receipt to Mr. Williamson to get your second or third box.
