FPHS Beta Club Philanthropy Team will have a $1 jean day Friday, December 14th and 21st. Proceeds will benefit the Scholarship Fundraiser.
Balfour will be here on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 to distribute senior ring packets and talk to juniors. They will be back on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 to take orders for rings.
UNITED STATES AIR FORCE: If you would like to speak with a recruiter from the U.S. Air Force, meet them in the cafeteria during the lunch break on Thursday, Dec. 13th.
Seniors: Pictures will be Wednesday, Dec 12 - Friday Dec 14. Your English Teacher should have a list of what day and time that you will be taking your pictures.

Dress Code:
Girls may wear a button-up shirt that day. They need to wear either a tube top or a tank that can be moved off of their shoulders for the drape picture. If you bought a senior ring, wear that also. Lifetouch will provide the drape, cap, and gown for you to wear, along with the pearl necklace.

Boys may also wear a button-up. They should wear a white undershirt underneath it. If you bought a senior ring, wear it. Life touch will provide you wit the tux, cap and gown for you to wear.

If you want to purchase your proofs, you should bring $10.00 payable to Lifetouch. If you do not wish to purchase your proofs, you still need to take your photograph, so you can have your picture in the yearbook and Franklin Sun.
Delta Nursing Applicants:
LDCC Winnsboro has extended the deadline to complete background check packets for the Evening Certified Nursing Assistant course starting this spring. You should have already mailed your information to the Louisiana State Police in Baton Rouge. When you receive it back, the background check packet must be completed and turned into the Delta campus by Tuesday,
December 18, 2018 by noon. Students must include 2 copies of their finger prints from the local detention center and a $26.00 money order with their completed background check packet. We are happy to assist students fill out the packet if they would like to come to the Winnsboro campus. Please see Mrs. Beeman for information about the program and the background check information packet. Please feel free to call me if you have any questions. 4-H Announcements
Christmas Community Service Trip:  Our annual trip to spread Christmas Cheer to local nursing homes is being planned for Wednesday December 19th.  Permission Slips will be available at the meeting and due by noon Thursday December 13th. 

FBLA STUDENTS: All Freedom Fundraiser money should be turned in NO LATER THAN WEDNESDAY, DEC. 12. Some of you have TWO boxes to sell within that time frame. You are required to sell at least one box to attend District. If you have questions, please see Mrs. Bland ASAP.

*All change must be in a complete roll before turning it in. Loose change will NOT be accepted.*

SENIORS: Any senior that was recognized for Senior Night at the football game needs to get your poster from Mrs. Bland by Friday.

SENIOR: January 18th, 2019 Mrs. Southern will be taking a trip to ULM to tour the campus and the programs the offer. Dual enrollment seniors, seniors that have been accepted and seniors that are interested in attending ULM are invited to attend. We will leave at 815 am and return by 2 pm. Cost of the trip will be $10.00 This will include your bus fair, and lunch. Permission slips are in Mrs. Southerns office. Remember…..first come first serve!
Seniors: It is a law that all males register with the selective service when they turn 18. There is no draft, but students are still required to register. Go to to register. Failing to register impacts opportunities for government jobs, renewing driver's license, claiming loans or other benefits. Teachers, there is a high school teacher's kit available at
ALL STUDENTS/PARENTS: Students planning to withdraw/move in the near future should remain at Franklin Parish High School until Jan. 11th if at all possible. When a student withdraws from our school, before the end of our semester, they have not earned any credits. They have been working toward earning 1/2 a credit in each of their classes, but they do not complete that process until the end of semester exams. This means that they would potentially be required to attend their new school and take final exams at their new school. Ideally, the student would complete the fall semester at FPHS, which ends Jan 11, and earn the fall semester credit here so it can be recognized on their transcript. ·    Seniors who owe money/fines to the school from previous years and/or owe their $10 senior fee will not be issued their senior supplies or cap and gown until all fines are paid. Senior fee will increase to $15 on Monday, February 4th.

·    Senior supplies from The Graduate Sales should be ordered by December 20th to avoid paying higher prices. After that date, prices will increase. If you want to receive your senior wearing apparel by January, you should order by December 20th. Later ordering dates will result in receiving wearing apparel at a later date in 2019. 

·    Payments for senior supplies can be made to The Graduate Shop online at or you may mail payments to The Graduate Sales, 4203 Cypress Street, West Monroe, LA 71291. To make the final payment by check, you must pay the final payment prior to Friday, February 22, 2019. After this date, payment must be made in cash, money order, or credit card. You may also pay in person by going by The Graduate Sales office at 4203 Cypress Street, West Monroe. Payment will not be accepted by Franklin Parish High School.


These faculty members need to see Ms. Strickland  to pay their faculty dues.
