FRANKLIN PARISH RETIRED TEACHERS ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP:

Provides 1, $500 scholarship to a qualifying high school senior attending school in Franklin Parish. This student must be a college bound senior. At least a 3.0 GPA, enrolling in a 4 or 2 year college, good work habits, positive attitude and dependable, leadership through community service, and extracurricular activites. Please see Mrs. Southern for application due by MAY 1, 2018.

MARHTA PERRITT LEE SCHOLARSHIP:

Provides 1, $1,000 scholarship to a qualifying high school senior attending school in Franklin Parish. This student must be a college bound senior, pursuing a Bachelor of Education. At least a 3.0 GPA, enrolling in a 4- year college, good work habits, positive attitude, dependable and Demonstrate Christian character. Applicants who are and have been members of First Baptist Church Winnsboro will be given first consideration. Please see Mrs. Southern for more details. The application due by APRIL 23, 2018.

RICE GROWERS ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP:

Provides 1, $750 cash award each year to a successful Senior who has demonstrated academic excellence, applying for Louisiana junior college, community college or university. Must have overall 2.5 GPA.   Please return to Ms. Southern by May 1, 2018.

 

FRANKLIN PARISH BLACK ACHIEVERS SCHOLARSHIP:

Provides 1 award each year to a successful Senior who has demonstrated academic excellence, applying for Louisiana junior college, community college or university.    Please return to Ms. Southern by May 30, 2018.

 



LOUISIANA ASSOCIATION OF CONSERVATION DISTRICT SCHOLARSHIP:

Provides the scholarship award for 2018-2019. Senior Applicants that have been accepted to a Louisiana Community College or University in the field of agriculture, natural resources or environmental sciences. Application must be completed and returned to the Local Soil and Conservation District no later than April 13, 2018.

JESSE ERNEST JR EDUCATIONAL FUND SCHOLARSHIP:

Provides 1, award to a successful Senior who has demonstrated academic excellence, applying for junior college, community college or university. At least a 3.0 GPA Please return to Ms. Southern by April 30, 2018.

BATON ROUGE AREA SCHOLARSHIPS:
They have a variety of scholarships available for seniors state-wide, ranging from $500-$30,000 and deadlines are approaching. Find out more information and download applications from the web at www.braf.org and click on scholarships to see a full listing.
