WENDYS HIGH SCHOOL HEISMAN:
Since 1994, the Wendy's High School Heisman Scholarship has been recognizing and rewarding Senior Athletes who excel in the classroom and on the field. This year $60,000.00 will be given in scholarships. See Mrs. Southern in Student Services for more information.
LOUISIANA STATE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS SCHOLARSHIP:
Must be a Catholic Senior at FPHS. Winners will receive. 1st Place $5,000, 2nd Place $3,000 3rd Place $2,000 and other winners will receive $500. Please fo to this website for application process. http://www.louisianakc.org/programs/cyla/application.pdf DUE BY JANUARY 25, 2019.
DIXIE YOUTH BASEBALL/SOFTBALL SCHOLARSHIP:
Must be a Senior in High School and participated in DIXIE YOUTH program when 12 years old or younger. Applicant's ability as an athlete will not be a factor in awarding scholarships. See Mrs. Southern for more information and application. Due February 1, 2019.
FARM BUREAU SCHOLARSHIP:
Must be a graduating Senior in 2019, overall GPA 2.5 or higher, attending a Louisiana college in Agriculture, Ag Business or Ag Science and must be a member of Farm Bureau Federation. Please se Mrs. Southern for more details and application. Due February 28, 2019.
THE BLACK HERITAGE ORGANIZATION-MABEL THOMAS:
Must be a graduating Senior in 2019, overall GPA 3.0, Good Leadership Ability, 2 extra curricula activities, 2 church or community activities, plan to enroll in college, and must participate in Christmas Parade 2009. $300.00 will be awarded. Application deadline is December20, 2018. See Mrs. Southern for more details.
